In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that a police party of PS Behibagh at a checkpoint established at Noonmai arrested a drug peddler identified as Bashir Ahmad Khan S/o Gull Mohammad Khan R/o Matipora and during searches recovered 5 Kgs of poppy straw concealed in a polythene bag following which he was shifted to police station where he remains in custody. ![]() Srinagar : Police on Friday said that it has arrested 5 drug peddlers in Kulgam and Baramulla districts and also recovered a huge quantity of contraband substances from their possession.
